IPEN has engaged hundreds of NGOs to link their priorities and POPs problems in the context of the Stockholm Convention. One of IPEN's major achievements is the International POPs Elimination Project, which engaged over 350 NGOs, and implemented more than 290 projects in 65 countries. The formal title of the project is Fostering Active and Effective Civil Society Participation in Preparations for Implementation of the Stockholm Convention.
