The 4th meeting of the International Conference on Chemicals Management (ICCM4) for the Strategic Approach to International Chemicals Management (SAICM) was held in Geneva from 28 September to 2 October 2015 and numerous IPEN Participating Organization representatives attended. The sixth session of the Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee (INC6) for the international Mercury Treaty took place in Bangkok, Thailand from 3 - 7 November, 2014, and numerous representatives from IPEN Participating Organizations took part. Please see below some information about IPEN's activities during the conference. 

IPEN members have participated as observers in the work of the Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs) Review Committee (POPRC) since its inception. The POPRC is a subsidiary body to the Stockholm Convention established for reviewing chemicals proposed for listing in Annex A, B, and/or C.

IPEN representatives participated in the open-ended intergovernmental preparatory meeting and the Conference of Plenipotentiaries (the Diplomatic Conference, or "DipCon") on the “Minamata Convention on Mercury” in the second week of October, 2013 in Japan.
