Sherika Whitelocke-Ballingsingh (she/her), B.S.c, PgCt. Med. Tox., MPH., serves as the Poison Information Coordinator for the Caribbean Poison Information Network, situated at the University of Technology, Jamaica. With over two decades of experience in public health, she is a Public Health Inspector by training. Her expertise spans international public health, medical toxicology, and education and training. She contributes to both public sector and academic institutions, with her research and professional background largely centered on chemical poisoning. Driven by a commitment to public health, she is passionate about safeguarding vulnerable populations from poisoning and is a strong proponent of policies aimed at protecting human health from toxic exposure across Jamaica and the wider Caribbean.
