Awareness-raising on POPs in Guinea Bissau French

Information and awareness-raising workshop on the Stockholm Convention on POPs in Guinea Bissau.

This activity aimed to inform and raise awareness of the Stockholm Convention and of POPs among Guinea Bissau NGOs, associations, the Civil Society leaders and media actors so they could participate in implementing the Convention and related national policies. ACOBES conducted an awareness-raising workshop with NGO and government presenters featuring topics such as the status of the Convention in Guinea Bissau, impacts of POPs on human health, alternatives to POPs and the role of NGOs in Convention implementation.
