Approved by the IPEN Executive Committee December 2020

The International Pollutant Elimination Network (“IPEN”) is committed to safeguarding the information you share with us and to ensuring transparency and responsibility in the handling of any personal data we receive. This privacy policy defines how IPEN uses and protects any information that you provide when using this website, when registering for our contact list, taking an online action sponsored by us, or making a donation.

Who we are

IPEN was founded in 1998 and is a network of over 600 organizations in more than 124 countries worldwide working to strengthen global and national chemicals and waste policies, contribute to ground-breaking research, and build a global movement for a toxics-free future.

IPEN is a registered non-governmental organization under the Swedish law (Swedish organization number 802442-2449). IPEN receives funding from governments, development agencies, private foundations, and donations. IPEN does not accept funding from corporations or trade groups. IPEN’s entry to the EU Transparency Register can be found here (link is external).
