IPEN Gathers for a Global Meeting
More than 110 IPEN members from around the world met in the Philippines for a global meeting – the first such IPEN global gathering since early 2020.
IPEN members, called Participating Organizations (POs), work globally and in their countries and regions to end threats to health and the environment from toxic chemicals and waste. Check the IPEN Regional Hub pages often for regional achievements and recent highlights.

A toxic-free future begins where exposure ends by protecting women, enforcing accountability, and turning commitments into action now. A toxic-free future demands more than promises. Plastic recycling cannot solve the plastic crisis - recycling adds more pollution and releases more toxics. Avoiding plastic is the best way to solve the plastic crisis. As part of IPEN, we can strengthen capacity by developing our citizen science program, science-based policy making, and build a global movement for a healthy toxics-free future.
