World map showing color-coded IPEN Regional Hubs: Latin America and Caribbean (green), Anglophone Africa (blue), Francophone Africa (orange), Middle East and North Africa (red), others in distinct colors. Legend at bottom left.

IPEN member organizations (called Participating Organizations or POs) are coordinated through IPEN’s eight Regional Hubs. POs define themselves as IPEN members by participating in IPEN projects and aligning with IPEN’s policy goals. IPEN’s eight regions are: Anglophone Africa (AA); Francophone Africa (FA); Central, Western & (sections of) Eastern Europe (CEWE); a portion of Eastern Europe, the Caucasus & Central Asia (EECCA); Latin America & Caribbean (LAC); Middle East & North Africa (MENA); South Asia (SA); and Southeast & East Asia (SEA).

One PO in each region serves as the Regional Hub, where a Regional Coordinator works to manage communication and collaborations among the POs in the region and with other regions and to oversee IPEN projects in the region. The Regional Coordinators also report to the IPEN Network on their regions’ needs, activities, and perspectives.
