玛丽亚-伊莎贝尔-卡尔卡莫

María Isabel Cárcamo (she/her) is the national coordinator of the Pesticide Action Network of Uruguay since 1998 and coordinator of the World Alliance for Mercury free dentistry for Latin America since 2012. She has nearly 30 years of experience in awareness raising, training and public policy advocacy on pesticides, GMOs and toxic chemicals, 20 years of experience in global environmental negotiations since the beginning of the Stockholm Convention. She is a teacher from the University of Chile. Author and co-author of various books related to pesticides and GMOs in Latin America and the author of numerous documents, reports, and articles on the negative impacts on health and the environment by pesticides and other toxic chemicals. She is based in Uruguay and speaks Spanish and English.
