Sampling for POPs Chemicals in Africa

IPEN member Arnika from Czechia has conducted global testing of eggs and environmental samples from toxic hotspots for more than 20 years. See their recent sampling trip working with IPEN members Sustainable Research and Action for Environmental Development (SRADeV) in Nigeria and Centre de Recherche et d’Education pour le Développement (CREPD) in Cameroon where open plastic waste burning is common at large waste dumps (sampling, not shown, was also done with the Environment Youth Action Network (EYAN) in Ghana).
