Annual Reports

IPEN is funded by independent philanthropy and government support. In 2025, IPEN received a NGOsource equivalency determination certification, denoting IPEN is equivalent to a U.S. public charity. IPEN does not accept corporate funding from chemical companies or industries whose operations threaten public health and/or the environment. See our donations policy for more.

Stakeholders view IPEN as efficient….IPEN is assessed to be cost-efficient, with a relatively lean structure and several examples of strategic and cost-effective resource use.
