Un réseau mondial pour un monde sain et exempt de toxiques

 Les fondateurs et dirigeants de l'IPEN sont des experts et des militants communautaires originaires principalement de pays à revenu faible ou intermédiaire d'Afrique, d'Asie et d'Amérique latine.  Ces dirigeants composent notre comité directeur et élaborent et supervisent notre travail stratégique.

Le Comité exécutif est élu l'organe directeur détient la responsabilité globale d'IPEN, alors que le Secrétariat comprend du personnel de programme et administratif, y compris des conseillers scientifiques et politiques qui fournissent un soutien à la recherche, des conseils techniques, une analyse des politiques et d'autres soutiens aux membres de notre réseau mondial.

Coprésidents de l'IPEN

L'une des contributions les plus durables de l'IPEN a été son succès dans l'autonomisation des ONG, en particulier celles du “Sud mondial”, leur permettant de participer à des forums politiques internationaux... Les contributions techniques et les activités de plaidoyer de l'IPEN ont soutenu l'élan vers [de nombreuses interdictions mondiales de produits chimiques] et aucun autre acteur de la société civile n'a été cité pour avoir eu la même ampleur et la même profondeur d'implication.

L'une des forces les plus distinctives d'IPEN réside dans son identité de réseau détenu et piloté par ses OP. IPEN est considéré comme un réseau de réseaux... où tous les acteurs partagent l'équité et ont un fort sentiment d'appartenance.
